I’m the Chief Architect for PNNL’s Data Intensive Computing Initiative. We’re developing a middleware platform, MeDICI, to support high performance, loosely-coupled, heterogeneous data intensive computing applications.
With Jenny Liu at NICTA, we’re building the Adaptive Server Framework (ASF). This is a J2EE-based framework for augmenting J2EE server applications with adaptive behavior with very low performance overheads.
I’m working on PNNL’s project that contributes to the SCiDAC Common Component Architecture (CCA). We’re currently looking at how asynchronous events can be added to the CCA component framework.
